philosophy

Results-oriented and with comprehensive experience, I’m accustomed to surpassing expectations in deadline-driven environments. I use a data-driven and analytical approach to create effective solutions to best serve humans, while leading a design project from concept to launch. I’m passionate about increasing equity, accessibility, and diversity through design and leadership. I love typography and color.

about me

In another lifetime, I managed an independent record store full of anti-authoritarians in Austin, Texas. I taught English (and learned a little Chinese) in Shaanxi province, China for half a year. I am proficient in French and some American Sign Language, and I am beginning Korean. I have an innate skill for retaining celebrity knowledge (invaluable to any trivia team!). In my spare time, I run Lake Merritt, Oakland and around the world; and I read trashy novels.
